Brington parish is located in rural Northamptonshire, between the county town of Northampton and the town of Daventry. The parish is situated in close proximity to Althorp House, the ancestral home of the Earls Spencer.
The parish boasts two public houses, a post office, village hall, beautiful church with an active congregation. There are many groups in the village including a gardening club and history society.
The Parish Council meet on the 3rd Wednesday of the month. A list of dates for 2022 can be found here
The Parish Council now has only five councillors despite continual requests for the community to become part of this valuable service. Due to holidays and work commitments we are unable to have a quorum of three and therefore will have to postpone the meeting on 18th May to the next possible date in May .
Due to the small size of the council I am afraid this is likely to be an ongoing challenge . Please bear with us but with three vacancies the bandwidth of the council is inevitably reduced .
The meeting has been rescheduled for 25th May.
